The mission of Interfaith Health & Support blends Parish Nursing and trained Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers in providing a range of services to support the frail and elderly to enhanced and assist them to remain independent as long as possible. A non-profit organization serving the community with medical transportation, grocery shopping, reassurance calls, respite care, friendly visiting and pet visits. “Supporting Seniors and their Caregivers”
Trained Volunteer Caregivers provide non-medical Respite Care and support to the Caregivers and Carerecievers trying to cope with Alzheimer’s disease.
Interfaith Health & Support Services of Southern Ocean County (IHSS) is a non-profit organization located on the campus of Hackensack Meridian Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, New Jersey. We are a coalition of different faith communities, social service, and health care organizations that provides volunteer physical, emotional and spiritual support to those living at home who are vulnerable because of age or disability. All services are provided free of charge.
