Reduced Fare Transportation Program - Program permits persons over 62 and the disabled to travel at reduced fares on weekdays during off-peak hours, 9:30am to 4pm and 7pm to 6am as well as all day on Saturday and Sunday and state holidays. Reduced fare 973-491-7112. The program includes inter-state travel on all participating bus and rail lines. For the Reduced Fare Program, persons over 65 must show Medicare card to receive benefit. Under 65 and disabled, application must be made for an ID card. Call the your local Office on Aging for an application.
Senior and Disabled Persons and Hearing Impaired - Access Link is curb-to-curb transportation for people with disabilities and can be scheduled one to fourteen days in advance. All service is comparable to local bus transportation and is provided by an experienced transportation service company contracted to NJ Transit.
