Family Services and Community Centers provide information and referral services to those living in the diocese who may be experiencing a variety of difficulties. Our application process is a streamlined process that can be quickly completed. We do not have a waiting list and we are generally able to assist clients within 24 hours of the request for service. We assist needy individuals/families by providing assistance with: fuel, utility expenses, emergency housing, clothing referrals, essential prescriptions, a food pantry, and other essential items. A food bank or food pantry is a non-profit organization which distributes non-perishable goods and perishable food items to provide immediate hunger relief to individuals and families who are unable to afford food - By Appointment only. ID required.
