Ridgecrest Senior Housing is an independent living facility for senior citizens age 62+ and disabled persons. Ridgecrest Senior Housing opened in 1983 is owned by the Ridgewood Senior Citizen Housing Corp., Inc., a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization, that is run by a volunteer Board of Trustees. Their mission is to provide good quality, affordable housing to income qualified senior and disabled citizens. Ridgecrest is subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and managed by the Housing Authority of Bergen County (HABC). Ridgecrest is made up of 129 units - 25 studio apartments and 104 one bedroom apartments.
