In 1980, Village Wrap started as a group of individuals and family members meeting once a week for spiritual guidance and support. As a diverse group of family members and friends, they were able to support one another in addressing their needs by utilizing their individual strengths, expertise and knowledge. They continued for more than twenty-five (25) years meeting as a group and sharing their knowledge and commitment to families in their respective communities. By 2006, we became a legal entity and Village Wrap, Inc, was born. Today, Village Wrap, Incorporated, is a multi-service—community-based, human service organization. It is a 501(c)(3) and licensed by The Division of Addiction Services of NJ to provide Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Services.
Addiction Services: Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, Screening, Assessment. Specialized Services/Populations: Adolescents, Adult, Men, Women, Pregnant/postpartum women, Women accompanied by children, Criminal justice clients, Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Funding Streams/Special Initiatives: Medicaid, Private health insurance, Self pay/sliding scale, County funding, Work First New Jersey (WFNJ), South Jersey Initiative (SJI), Drug Court (DC), MAP Program
