Assist in the mediation of disputes arising out of the sale of goods and services, as well as the offer to sell goods and services. Processes complaints that are possible violations of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. The consumer with a complaint should contact the consumer agency located in the same area that the business is and not the area where the complainant lives. To complain about businesses that are out of county, telephone the Passaic County Office for further information.
