Provides comprehensive senior care programs, including physician, nursing, social work and visiting nurse agency. Center for Mental Health - Individual and Family Counseling can assist seniors who are facing adjustments in their lives. Outreach workers can provide assistance to those who are reluctant to seek professional help. General Cancer Support Group. Diabetes Support Group - Meets 1st Wednesday of each month, 10:00 AM at Newton Medical Center. Stoke Support Group meets the 4th Tuesday of the month, 7:30 PM at Newton Medical Center. Mended Hearts - Offered through Cardiac Rehab Department. Provides encouragement to heart patients and their families during the time of healing. There are various support groups that meet throughout the County. The purpose of these groups is to offer mutual support and understanding to patients and/ or caregivers. Resources are shared. Guest speakers may present information. For more information, consult the local newspapers for times and locations of various support groups.
