Serving the citizens of Burlington County through information and referral services and cash assistance, nutritional support, health coverage, child support, employment programs, and emergency assistance. Information and referral to all county programs. Provides diversified Medicaid programs for eligible persons aged, blind and disabled. Provides Care Management, which provides in-home services through a specific Medicaid program to assist seniors to remain in their community. Adult Medicaid Unit - Provides assistance in application and completion of Medicaid Programs. Rental Assistance. Subsidizes rent for HUD-Section 8 housing. Medical transportation for Medicaid beneficiaries is arranged through the Board of Social Services between the hours of 8am – 3pm. Client must be ambulatory. Three-business days notice required. Income and resource guidelines to obtain assistance in purchasing monthly groceries.
