Facing the Challenges of Dementia and Severe Mental Illness

This workshop is intended to provide a useful overview of the similarities and differences between dementia and severe mental illness for professionals who support older adults in long-term care. The presenter will discuss strategies and non-pharmacological interventions that can be used to address Major Depression, Schizophrenia, dementia, and delirium in nursing facilities and assisted living.
